The changing temperature gives once the thaw and another freeze the thaws caused, that’s why it is hard for us to move around the station not to “wriggle”. However, adding to it the crystal – clear water got a possibility of admiring the colorful views and taking beautiful photos.

Where do we take water from?
Our station couldn’t exist without water. Right next to the establishment is a container with life – giving liquid and fortunately, we don’t have to supply it regularly with snow or ice from the bay as we did it in the station on Spitsbergen.
The last prom
Time passes slowly for us, but relentlessly – according to preliminary calculations, equally one hundred days to the end of our wintering come up on Saturday. On this occasion, we decided to celebrate a solemn “prom” (in Poland 100 days before high-school exit exam).
“Samolot”
The last post was about the view outside the window that we see each day, today we’re going to show you some “Samolot” (Airplane) photos – the main residential and presentable building of The Arctowski Station.
Window view
One of the most common questions among the students during online lessons in Spitsbergen was about the window view. Thanks to quite quick connection and video cameras which record the landscape in front of the station, it was easy to make the wish come true.
At Demay Point
You were asking for a post about Demay’s cottage – and here it is! We’ve been there lately for three days to rest from daily routine and to listen to silence interrupted by the sound of the sea calling the sea lions one another.
