There has been no ice at Admiralty Bay since one month but from time to time the creabeater seals vitis us. Even yesterday we saw a drifting iceberg on which a few dozen of these adorable seals rested.
In the “A visit of creabeater seals” post we promised you that soon you will be able to see the video made by Piotr involving these pinnipeds. We are pleased that we were able to shoot, because two days later (early September) the entire ice sheet disappeared under the influence of increasingly high temperatures and strong storms, and these animals rather stick to the ice sea and they come to rest on a ashore occasionally.
Have a nice watching time!
