We’ve crossed the equator on 11th October in the evening – the magic line that separated the familiar world’s order for us. We didn’t even have the chance to lean our noses right there.
Journey
Polar Fitness Club
This is the subject that deserves to have its own separate part. It was just an idea that turned into a real purpose and fixed element of our schedule.
Magic nights and the inhabitants of the sea
We wondered what it’s like on the other side of the equator? Other stars, moon upside- down and whirlpool in the sink…all these ideas made us to spend every single evening at the board just to see the perfect view in front of us.
Lazy cruise days
Some of our friends hearing „40 days’ cruise” reacted just spontaneous and usually in a negative way – why not by plane to Argentina? And then just a couple of days by ship?
We sailed out and we reached the point!
After tiring and a little bit stressful loading the ship, on 24th of September at about 9 p.m. the Polar Pioneer ship launched its engines and moved out from the harbor. The adventure had started and we were supposed to experience 40 days’ cruise.
